Posted on October 4th, 2013 No Comments

Texas resident Don Billings filed a wrongful death suit for the accident that killed his wife Cristina Munguia Billings.

On June 30, Mr. Billings was riding in the passenger’s side while his wife drove their Ford Expedition on US highway 79 when it rolled over, allegedly due to the tire’s tread belt separation.

Cristina sustained major head injuries and died on the spot. Don also suffered grave physical injuries.

The suit was filed against Continental Tire Americas and Ford Motor Co. on Wednesday, October 2 in the Eastern District of Texas, Marshall Division.

The defendants are accused of negligence for failing to adequately manufacture the tire.
