Posted on October 3rd, 2013 No Comments

Two passengers filed a personal injury lawsuit against Houston-based tour bus company El Expresso after a car accident on U.S. Route 59 between Marshall and Carthage in Panola County Thursday, September 26.

The bus made a U-turn and landed right in front of a tractor trailer. The trailer crashed into the bus, and caused the death of two people and injured four others.

The lawsuit’s original petition listed Mexico residents Edgar Vela and Sergio Torres as the plaintiffs. They are claiming damages for medical care, pain and suffering physical impairment, mental anguish, disfigurement, and loss of wages.

El Expresso operates all over Texas, with trips going to and from Dallas, San Antonio, Laredo, McAllen, Matamoros, and Nuevo Laredo.
