A violent car crash ripped a car in half after it slammed into two utility poles on the Northeast Side, early in the morning of Thursday, March 14.
Reports coming from the San Antonio Police Department stated that a speeding car lost control at the 12000 block of Perrin Beitel after a driver did not decrease his speed when coming around a corner. The car reportedly jumped off the curb and was separated into two pieces after it slammed into two utility poles. The driver sustained critical injuries after the crash and was immediately taken to University Hospital.
Police said no one else was in the car aside from the driver. It is also not known whether alcohol was involved or not.
Fortunately, no other cars or people were involved in this accident; however, there are far too many every day in which reckless drivers, such as this one, cause devastating harm to innocent parties.
