Death of former Altanta Falcon player may change course of NFL concussion lawsuits

The death of former NFL star, Ray Easterling, last week may change the course of the NFL concussion lawsuit from a personal injury case to a wrongful death case.

Easterling was found dead in his home after suffering, from what police believe, a gunshot wound that was self-inflicted.

A Philadelphia”In the last six months, I guess, I could tell he was not on his game. He kept repeating himself and getting confused. It’s pretty tough, pretty tough.” Nearly 61 lawsuits have been filed which state that the NFL was negligent in treating concussions, which lead NFL players to suffer from long-term head injuries as a result.
