A major accident in San Antonio left one man injured and caused him to be airlifted to the University Hospital.
The accident occurred just before 1 a.m. when the man was driving east on Interstate 410 and lost control of his vehicle for unknown reasons. His pickup truck then went in between two bridges, which cause his car to be throw into the air.
The vehicle was airborne for 116 feet before striking the median and then a retaining wall before finally coming to a stop. The extent of his injuries are unknown at this point and the investigation is still underway.
